UF Constans Theatre
Decker Construction is proud to showcase the transformation of the University of Florida’s Constans
Theatre, a project that celebrates both the legacy and the future of the performing arts on campus.
Our team managed every stage of the renovation — from selective demolition and infrastructure
upgrades to the installation of advanced lighting, audio, and mechanical systems — ensuring the
theatre now meets modern performance and safety standards while preserving its creative spirit.
The refreshed venue offers an enhanced
experience for performers, students, and
audiences alike, with improved functionality,
acoustics, and comfort throughout the space.
Partnering with the UF School of Theatre and
Dance on this project was a true honor. Together,
we’ve built more than a performance space —
we’ve created a dynamic environment where
imagination, education, and craftsmanship take
center stage for years to come.
