FEATURE  “ Areli Bosson



            I grew up in regional Victoria where my German father and Filipino mother owned a
            bakery. As a mixed race child in a rural area my life seemed a bit different to other local
            children, however I was always a creative child with a wild imagination. My sister and I
            would spend weekends making home movies and imaginary fashion photoshoots.

            Our other favourite pastime was exploring our beautiful backyard, running through our neighbours
            paddocks or walking along the old railway track. We were surrounded by everything that embodies the
            unique Australian bush.
      I have vivid memories of trees full of noisy corellas,   I won’t lie, I barely slept a wink all week. Always
