US AMERIC AN L EGION
Veterans Proudly
Serving America for
Nearly A Century
When it comes to assisting veterans and helping
members of the US armed forces make the transition
to civilian lives, no one does it better than the American
Legion. Since its founding in 1919, The American Legion
has been assisting generations of veterans and their
families. As the nation’s largest veterans service
organization, the 2.3 million member American Legion
is at work every day throughout the country and beyond,
ensuring that those who served our nation in uniform, and
their families, receive the care, support, honor and services
they earned and deserve.
