TCL’s Transitioning Military



                                         Training Program







        TCL's Transitioning Military Training Program assists transitioning military members with refining
        the skills that they’ve gained through their military service to match the demands of employers
        throughout the region. Each program offered through TMT results in a License or Certification
        which is key when stepping out into the civilian workforce. Additionally, the Transitioning
        Military Training Program scholarship covers you for the cost of the course and, upon successful
        completion, the cost of the certification testing (courses normally range from $895-$4800).
        FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License Prep Course is a six week on-campus course, with
        classroom instruction, and hands-on practical training to prepare students for the path towards the Federal
        Aviation Administration Airframe & Powerplant License. Instructor permission is required for registration.
        NCATT Certified Aircraft Electronics Technician is an on-campus ASTM International accredited
        course including classroom instruction and hands-on practical training that will prepare aviation profession-
        als, and avionics technicians to attain the NCATT AET certification. No prerequisites required.

        Certified Avionics Navigation/Communication Systems Technician is an on-campus ASTM
        In-ternational accredited course including fast paced classroom-based systems technical training for
        success-ful completion of the NCATT AET Systems Certification Endorsements.

        Welding is a four-part on campus course including all of the basic welding styles and completion results
        in AWS Welding Certification. Total hours 288 + 10 hour Certification.

        Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) is a 20- hour DHEC approved course that prepares you for
        the EMT Certification licensure exam at the emergency technician level.
        Commercial Drivers License (CDL) training allows you to earn your commercial driver’s license in 8
        weeks (day class) or 9 weeks (night class). You must have your CDL permit to apply for entrance to this
        program.
