Based in biodiversity-rich Ecuador, Alan J. Hesse is a veteran
conservation biologist, author-illustrator and climate educator.

Backed by a career in conservation spanning three decades,
Alan specializes in distilling complex environmental topics into
entertaining resources designed to facilitate understanding
and engagement with non-technical audiences.

Alan J. Hesse cares deeply about nature. His mind is
constantly occupied by what we are doing to it and to
ourselves.Alan has travelled widely and has come into
contact with many different cultures and natural
landscapes. These experiences have shaped the
person he is today and has defined the purpose of what
he does, including drawing cartoons.

A well written book about a very important issue that
we all seem to ignore. This is perfect for children to
learn about taking care of our environment. Not only
does this teach about climate change, but also to

as possible of all ages so that they can make informed

and the decisions that they make
