Ruth Maille

Ruth is the author of the multiple award-winning
books in The Power of… series, which focuses on
essential character traits in Social and Emotional
Learning. She draws her writing inspiration from the
children that have been part of life as the owner and
operator of a daycare/preschool for 33 years.

Additionally, Ruth became a certified
parent-relationship coach in 2018. Using the
tools she has acquired in both professions,
she has had the privilege of helping many

families.

During her downtime, Ruth enjoys traveling with her children Evan, Scott, and
Kendra. They love exploring new places, especially the great outdoors. Alaska,
Great Britain, and Italy are her favorite places to visit. On her bucket list is
exploring The National Parks.

The Power of Kindness: Through the Eyes of Children is a
colorful and memorable children's book. Examples of how children
can be kind to others by sharing, spreading joy, and understanding
the needs of their friends and family are shown throughout the
story.

The Power of Gratitude: Unlocking Hidden
Treasures is a clever way to teach young
people to be thankful by encouraging them to
look for opportunities to be grateful.

The Power of Empathy: Be the Friend You've Always Wanted
gently teaches young children how to recognize their emotions—and
the emotions of others. Using recognition as a foundation, the
storyline adds in understanding the large spectrum of emotions we
all have.
